We are excited to host the LCYC Junior Sailing Camp again in 2023. The camp is scheduled for Monday, July 17 – Friday, July 21, 2023, two weeks before the Youth Sunfish and Ensign Regattas. We anticipate a great week filled with sun, fun, and sailing! This week-long camp aims to provide intensive instruction, fundamental techniques of sailing, and development of safe boating habits.

MEMBERS
- Admission and/or waitlist decisions will be communicated the week of April 17.
- Applications are no longer being accepted. If you did not submit an application for your child but would like to discuss joining the waitlist, please email Kelly Latchana at kellycollins77@hotmail.com.
NON-MEMBERS
- Non-member applications submitted before April 14 will be processed after April 15, and admission decisions will be communicated at that time.
- Non-members who are admitted will be sent a link after April 15 to make payment of $450 per sailor.

CAMP INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES (for a printable version, click here)
The camp will run Monday through Friday from 9 am – 4 pm, with lunch served daily.
- Items needed for camp: Life jacket, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and water bottle.
- Age and experience level: Ages 8 – 16; all levels of sailing experience are welcome.
- Junior Sailing Camp Fee: Child/grandchild of LCYC Member, $425/Sailor. Non-Members, $450/Sailor.
The Club will provide the following boats:
- Optimists – The Club has 8 Optimists.
- Sunfish – The Club has 15 Sunfish.
We may need extra boats that week. If you have an Opti or Sunfish that you’d allow us to use, or for any other Camp-related questions or concerns, please contact the Latchanas at kellycollins77@hotmail.com.
