We are excited to host the LCYC Junior Sailing Camp once again in 2025. Camp is scheduled for Monday, July 14 – Friday, July 18. This week-long camp aims to provide intensive instruction, fundamental techniques of sailing, and development of safe boating habits. Advance registration is required.

- The application must be submitted online (member password is required to complete this application; it can be found on the title page of your LCYC Directory).
- A complete application must include (a) Application Form, (b) Liability Waiver, (c) Code of Conduct, and (d) $475 fee per sailor.
- LCYC members may submit applications for their children and grandchildren only.
- We hope to admit all member applicants, but due to the Camp’s popularity, we will do so on a first-come, first-serve, space-available basis.
- Admissions and/or waitlist decisions will be communicated the week of April 21.
Non-Member Application: CLICK HERE
- The application must be submitted online.
- A complete application must include (a) Application Form, (b) Liability Waiver, and (c) Code of Conduct.
- Non-member applications will be processed after April 15, and admissions decisions will be communicated the week of April 21.
- Non-members who are admitted will be sent a link after April 21 to make payment of $500 per sailor.
CAMP INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES
The camp will run Monday through Friday from 9 am – 4 pm, with lunch served daily.
- Items needed for camp: Life jacket, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and water bottle.
- Age and experience level: Ages 8 – 16; all levels of sailing experience are welcome.
- Junior Sailing Camp fee: Child/grandchild of LCYC Member – $475/Sailor. Non-Member: $500/Sailor.
The Club will provide the following boats:
- Optimists – The Club has 8 Optimists.
- Sunfish – The Club has 15 Sunfish.
